It all began with a feeling; something innate that drew her to any and everything art. From the explosions of patterns and colors, the combinations of textures and designs, to the collisions of tastes and flavors, she has always been drawn to the challenge to add as much beauty, uniqueness, charisma, and flavor - ambrosia - to everything she puts forth.

Being born into the military and remaining a military family member has allotted her the opportunity to learn about so many cultures and incorporate all types of things into every piece of art and plate. After graduating high school in 2011 she went on to North Carolina Central University for Business & Psychology until 2013 when she decided to hone her skills of Culinary Management at The Art Institute of Charlotte. It was there that a multitude of passions fully awakened and moments of enlightenment planted seeds in her heart to own her own business. Settling into North Carolina as home molded her strong ‘southern hospitality’ approach to everything in life while letting the teachings and experiences of life as a cultured Black American woman, military wife, mom of four, entrepreneur, and epicurista polish her.

With everything planted in her and all that watered her, it was only a matter of time before Ambrosia Souls Co came into bloom. In 2018, she picked back up her dreams and started Ambrosia Souls creating, sharing, and selling mixed media artwork as well as jewelry pieces and sets. In 2021 she married Ambrosia Souls now co-owner, Steven Dean Jr. After a hiatus and military move, slowly but surely the yearning to touch souls through not just visuals, but culinary as well, could not be ignored. In Spring of 2024, Ambrosia Souls Co. expanded with Ambrosiacs serving baked treats and goods with future offerings of savory plates and catering. With the combination of artistry, business savvy, social expertise, charisma, and love for people and serving others, our family business has been able to thrive and flourish.
